The body has wisdom. Access to that wisdom can help you heal and change old patterns of behavior and being.
Our Central Nervous System is composed of the brain and the spinal cord. Within it there is a subsystem called the Autonomic Nervous System which has two major divisions: Sympathetic (Fight or Flight) and Parasympathetic (Rest and Repair).
When we undergo acute stress the Fight/Flight Response is activated. If the person does not have the proper tools to handle acute or sustained stress, however, the body can freeze either the sympathetic or parasympathetic processes in order to protect itself.
If neglected, certain neurological and chemical processes are produced in the body that steer the person into living with limited capacity.
There are ways in which we can optimize our access to abundant capacity for life. Connecting to this potential requires creativity and openness to Mystery.
We can help you explore the limitless possibilities waiting for you within your own inner resources.
Difficult Memories & Feelings
It has been found through scientific research that trauma (physical, spiritual or emotional) can create an imbalance in the Central Nervous System. This in turn, can create chronic conditions, addictions, and illnessess.
Most of us are becoming more aware about the fact that we are more than our physical bodies. We have other dimensions, such as: emotional, psychological, and spiritual. Advances in the field of neuroscience and quantum physics tell us that there are connections throughout all our various dimensions. Mystics have known this for centuries.
Recent information that has become more widely available about the body-mind connection is having an impact in the way we view trauma. Holistic methods, such as bodywork, energywork and innerwork, are proving to be effective in releasing energy that has been blocked from its natural flow.
